Dissemination and Communication

DETECt will promote the implementation of a vast range of initiatives aimed at maximising the impact of the project within and particularly beyond the academic community.

Monica Dall’Asta

Monica Dall’Asta

Project Coordinator

Prof. Monica Dall’Asta is a scholar in Film and Media studies. Her research has dealt extensively with the history of popular culture in transnational perspective. Her work has particularly focused on feminist film history and theory, and on the role of montage for a constructionist concept of history. She is co-editor of the international Women Film Pioneers Project based at Columbia University (NY). She is the PI of the H2020 DETECt project.

 

Ilaria Bartolini

Ilaria Bartolini

ICT Coordinator

Prof. Ilaria Bartolini is a Computer scientist, with strong expertise in the fields of Multimedia Data Management and Web technologies. She has developed and spread worldwide query models for searching and browsing multimedia collections based on both the automatic characterizations of the content and its semantics, together with efficient and scalable query processing algorithms for highly differentiated users. She currently is EU ICT Coordinator of the H2020 DETECt project.

 

Valentina Re

Valentina Re

Communication Manager

Prof. Valentina Re is Associate Professor of Film and Media Studies. In 2005 she obtained a Ph.D. at the University of Bologna. From 2009 to 2014, she was Assistant Professor at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. She is senior editor of the journal Cinéma & Cie and co-editor of the book series Narrazioni seriali. Her research focuses on textual analysis, media theories and contemporary forms of media distribution and consumption.
