Miso Film was founded in 2004 by the producer team Jonas Allen and Peter Bose, who started their collaboration on the Swedish thriller and crime series Beck and Wallander. The company is behind the successful Danish TV-series Those Who Kill, Dicte and 1864. In Norway, Miso Film has produced the film series Varg Veum and the TV-series Aquitted, and in Sweden the company is currently producing the second season of Modus, a Swedish TV-series based on Anne Holts crime novels. On the big screen Miso Film has featured with the Danish thriller success The Candidate as well as co-produced the Norwegian World War II resistance drama Max Manus. Furthermore, the company is behind the Danish comedy Long Story Short, the family films Iqbal Farooq based on Manu Sareen’s childrens books and latest Ole Bornedal’s dark comedy Small Town Killers. The company is currently prepping for Bornedal’s next feature film about the popular Danish singer and musician John Mogensen as well as the first season of Scandinavia’s first original Netflix series The Rain.

Peter Bose

Peter Bose, producer and partner, has worked in the film industry since 1996. Peter is specialised in film financing and business management and has structured the financing and production of a large number of Scandinavian productions. In 2000 Peter co-founded the production company FilmPeople and from 2003 to 2005 he held a position as Executive Producer at Yellow Bird Films. Peter cofounded Miso Film with business partner Jonas Allen in 2004.

Astrid Hoder

Astrid Hoder

Astrid Hoder, assistant, graduated from the three-year long film education Station Next in 2012. Since then she has worked on several short and feature films until she began at The European Film College, where she graduated from in May 2016. She has been working as an assistant at Miso Film since July 2016.

Peter Bose

Peter Bose, producer and partner, has worked in the film industry since 1996.
